Welcome to Tendo. These terms govern your use of our website and your purchases from us. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. Our products are designed for children, but they are sold to and must be purchased by adults.

3. Products and descriptions

We try to describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Colours may look slightly different on your screen, and product specifications may change from time to time. We do not guarantee that the descriptions on the site are completely error-free. If a product is not as described, you can return it under our Refund Policy.

4. Prices and payment

  • All prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR).
  • We may change our prices at any time, but the price you see at checkout when you place your order is the price you pay.
  • Payment is taken when you place your order. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
  • Payments are processed securely by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
  • If we discover a pricing error after you order, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, or contact you to confirm the correct price.

5. Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received it. This is not our acceptance of your order. We accept your order when we dispatch it. We may refuse or cancel an order for reasons such as stock availability, pricing errors, suspected fraud or incomplete information. If we cancel an order after payment, you will be refunded in full.

6. Shipping and delivery

We deliver within South Africa. Standard shipping (3-6 working days) is free, and express shipping (2 working days) costs R150. Full details are in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

7. Returns and refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery. To qualify, items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Customers pay return shipping unless the item is faulty, damaged on arrival or incorrect. Full details are in our Refund Policy.

8. Faulty goods and your legal rights

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). If a product is defective or unsafe, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Please contact us at support@itendo.shop as soon as possible if you receive a faulty item.

9. Safe and responsible use

Tendo tablets are intended for use by children under adult supervision.

  • Parental control features (child lock, safe websites and time limits) are tools to help you manage your child’s use. They do not replace supervision, and we cannot guarantee that they block all unsuitable content.
  • You are responsible for the apps, websites and content you or your child access or install on the device.
  • Please follow the charging and safety instructions that come with the product. Do not use damaged chargers or batteries, and keep the device away from water and extreme heat.
  • The shockproof case reduces the risk of damage from drops, but it does not make the device indestructible.

10. Third-party apps and services

Tendo tablets run Android and may allow access to third-party apps, websites and services. These are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices or terms, and your use of them is at your own risk.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including the Tendo name, logo, text, images and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

12. Acceptable use of the website

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, systems or other users’ accounts
  • Introduce viruses or other harmful code
  • Scrape, copy or interfere with the operation of the site
  • Provide false or misleading information when ordering

13. Customer accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Please tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

14. Reviews and user content

If you post a review or other content on our site, you confirm that it is honest and based on your own experience. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, display and share it in connection with our business. We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, misleading or off-topic.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under South African law, including under the CPA.

17. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, power outages, strikes, courier or supplier disruptions, or government action.

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@itendo.shop so we can try to resolve it. If we cannot resolve it, you may also approach the National Consumer Commission or the relevant consumer court or ombud. South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
